Stuff to Do When Feeling Down

Some women go shopping or get their hair done. I'd be more depressed if I spent money then realized I had bought nothing of lasting value and I could give a flip about my hair so I go virtual house shopping.

Here are a few of todays top picks:

Larger than I really want and I need a yard but it's not shabby.

Don't want the house but I need that central courtyard.

I don't need it, probably could not afford it but I'm being unreasonable today so I want it.

And the winner is......

Get the big one and take in boarders - I swear I will hardly ever talk.

Aren't they lovely? So different from the white-on-white boxes sold here.

Truth is I'd prefer a 3-room box there to a Mc/Mansion in Vegas.

I must get new spectacles, I thought your caption read, "Things To Do When Kneeling Down". Consequently, it all got very confusing. I didn't like any of them. Far, far too much dusting - especially on your knees.

Those poor mexicans. I guess they just can't afford vinyl siding and linoleum, huh? They have to make do with stucco and stone and tile. Sigh.

RJ: there are 2 kinds of people. those who never "get" Mexico and those who immediately fall deeply and irrevocably in love with it, the culture and the people...warts & all. Guess we know which camp I fall in ;).

Ryk: yes, tragic. I'll have to get down there as soon as possible and at least take one of the horrid things off of their hands.

I always find it weird why people call people from Mexico either Hispanic or Spanish. What is wrong with Mexican as they come from Mexico? More PC shit.

My house is decorated Mexican and a little Indian (as in native) too.

I couldn't afford any of them, but they are all beautiful.

I like the first one best but are
they all in San Miguel? Aren't prices there higher than the rest of the state or am I wrong on this?

I virtual house shop instead of other shopping, also.

They are and yes it is more expensive. Quite a few very nice & far less expensive communities around there but we're using it as our jump off point as SM is the most accustomed to immigrants from the north.

Looked at several states all over the map but one main reason we want to go is to put at least some of the political craziness behind us....not walk into same in another country. I want peace & quiet & the ability to grow things 365 days a year.

Haven't completely nixed a few US locations but the way things are going, doubt it.

Can't grow 365 a year in downtown Portland, but we have Ron Wyden, David Wu, and Gordon Smith, hopefully to be replaced this year. Two out of three ain't bad.

Do they ship these things? They're dirt cheap!

Minnesota is great. If only they would secede themselves to Canada.

I was gone for awhile and so afraid I would have to read for hours to catch up. Thanks for goofing off.

We have something in common. I've been doing some of this real estate searching when feeling down, and I've been feeling down a lot lately.

Not Your Mama,
haven't seen you around in awhile, here, there or yonder. Just hope everything is OK and hope your holiday is all you hoped for.

Maybe you packed up and moved to Mexico!
