Race, Politics and Hip-Hop With Bill Moyers

Moyers interviews Melissa Harris-Lacewell. The sanest and truest discussion of race and politics in America I've heard yet. Bonus clip of Rush Limbaugh acting like the assmonkey he really is.

I'm adding it to the list of things I need to look up on YouTube.

This series of Bill Moyer's Journal is truly excellent, and the interview you highlight, particularly so. Each time I watch, and his guest says something I wish to question, Moyers jumps in and asks that very question. He's a total delight, and unique on American TV. The Bruce Bawer interview is also well worth watching.

Sad that one only needs to be sane to be unique isn't it?

Friday nights are never the same after Mr. Moyers specials started to air! Mama mia, do you have any idea whether there will be many more of them to come?

No clue sorry :(. I'd be willing to bet we'll be seeing much more of him though. I think the era of nutwing media reigning supreme may be about over.

Ok. With Moyers or Harris-Lacewell? Oh never mind, they're both rather stunning.

adynaton - just this once I'm willing to risk the accusation "sexist" by agreeing with you. No, not Bill Moyers, Mama, but Melissa Harris-Lacewell. A luscious body and a delectable mind - what a combination!
